LIFE Cultural Forum is a registered cultural instituttion of Department of Cultural Affairs of Sri Lanka, Register No: C.D./3/3/5/2 CO 93 date of registration is 16.12,2005, LIFE Cultural Forum involve in social service activities, apart from the dancing activities and looking forward to register as a Voluntary Service Organisation in Sri Lanka, in the Department of Social Services.
Our aim is to build peace through promoting Sri Lankan culture.We want the world to see and experience our wonderful country and culture by sending and receiving their respective ambassadors to various countries in the form of traditional dancers and musicians. Through this we intend to spread the message of peace and hope, not only in Sri Lanka, but world wide. LIFE CULTURAL FORUM is a professional, social and cultural service organisation, we are creating opportunities for people to experience, participate, learn and practice in aesthetic, traditional, Folklore, professional, talented or amateur dancing skills and Folklore Festivals. Since all our professional and traditional dancers and musicians are not able to perform in foreign countries, due to financial disabilities in Sri Lanka. The " Hitha Mithuru - 2015 " is organised for the aim of facilitating our dancers to create a platform to gain the international exposure in the dancing arena. We believe that our dances can transform the lives of individuals and communities. And broaden the cultural barriers and building peace and harmony within cultures and countries and continents around the world. We help to strengthen Dancers of all communities from any nook and corner of Sri Lanka, which could uplift the cultural and traditional values of all times. We are covering the areas of Professional, Armature Practice,Folk Dance , Low Country Dance, Kandyan Dance, Sabaragamuwa Dance,Dance for special Needy etc., Apart from the cultural Dances. Our activities are not committed only for the Dance, we are actively involved in corporate social responsibility projects in community building, health, education, eradicate poverty, women empowerment programs, Vocational training and youth development programs etc., |
